No one can become a full Knight of St. Tarcisius without participating in, and successfully completing, the Knighthood Vigil held each year for any Knight's Apprentice the Friday after Easter. The picture above is of six young men during their Knighthood Vigil steeped in prayer before the Blessed Sacrament with Deacon Steve Nguyen.
The Knights of St. Tarcisius served the Thanksgiving Mass of Deacon Steve Nguyen, and four of them acted as Extraordinary Ministers of Holy Communion, bringing our Lord to the faithful as St. Tarcisius did more than 1,700 years ago.

ORDER OF THE KNIGHT The next step on the path to Knighthood is found in the Squire's initiation into the Order of the Knight's Apprentice. During this year, Apprentices take on the tools that will help prepare him for full Knighthood a year later. Below you find basic information regarding the requirements for entering the Order of the Knight's Apprentice along with the expectations of each Apprentice.
REQUIREMENTS FOR ENTERING THE ORDER OF THE KNIGHT The following requirements must be met in order for a Knight's Apprentice to enter the Order of the Knight:
Must be an active participant in the monthly regional meetings of the Knights of St. Tarcisius
Must be an active server in his home parish, serving especially in the year's important Feasts and Solemnities during his year as a Knight's Apprentice

EXPECTATIONS OF THE FULL KNIGHT OF ST. TARCISIUS Full Knights of St. Tarcisius begin to play a leading role in the Knights of St. Tarcisius. They are expected to be examples of master serving, mentors to younger servers, and models of Christian manhood. They will help Squires hone their serving skills, and assist Apprentices in their use of the tools they received at their initiation into the Order of the Knight's Apprentice. Knights are also trained as Extraordinary Ministers of Holy Communion and are expected to act in this ministry as Knights.
